Participant Policies & Guidelines

Thank you for participating in the Autism Acceptance Fashion Show hosted by Fredericksburg Fashion Week International. Our goal is to provide a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where every participant feels valued, respected, and celebrated.

Registration Policy

All participants must complete the official registration form before the registration deadline.
Registration is not considered complete until all required forms and waivers have been submitted.
Event organizers reserve the right to close registration once participant capacity has been reached.

Parent, Guardian & Caregiver Policy

Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian throughout the event.
Adults requiring assistance are welcome to have a caregiver or designated support person accompany them.
Parents, guardians, and caregivers are responsible for the participant's supervision before and after the runway presentation.

Accommodation Policy

We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations whenever possible. Families are encouraged to share any sensory, communication, mobility, or medical needs during registration so our team can prepare appropriate support.

Behavior & Respect Policy

All participants, families, volunteers, designers, vendors, and guests are expected to treat one another with kindness, patience, dignity, and respect.

Bullying, discrimination, harassment, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the event.

Safety Policy

Participants should remain with their parent, guardian, caregiver, or assigned volunteer when not on the runway.
Emergency contact information must remain current.
Event staff should be notified immediately of any medical concerns or emergencies.

Photography & Media Policy

Photography and videography may occur during the event for promotional purposes.

Participants or parents/guardians may choose to:

Grant permission for photography and video.
Decline permission for photography and video.

We will make every reasonable effort to honor each participant's media preferences.
